WHO IS GRACE AND WHY DOES SHE CREATE ?
ABOUT MY BUSINESS
Thank you for being here! In order to answer my heart's calling that I talked about in the video, I started my business, Grace Shelley Art in early 2019. We provide concierge art services for individuals and businesses. After consulting with you, we will create custom art that will enrich and personalize your space. Choose an image from one of my galleries, or let us transform one of your favorite photo memories into a treasured piece of contemporary art, a new service I call "Your Photos Your Way."
Please call or email me if you wish to set up a complimentary consultation to discuss our services or to purchase. All images on the site are available and we can drop ship to you. 401-622-8038 or send me your info via the “CONTACT ME” button so I can add you to our email list announcing shows and new work.
iT HAS A CONTEMPORARY LOOK
I print my images on various substrates: on acrylic face mounts; on large gallery-wrapped canvases finished with epoxy; brushed aluminum gallery wraps; or framed images printed on metal, all ready to hang. All are very contemporary looks. Custom sizes up to 40x60" We can also create blank custom art notecards or decorative pillows and other items for your home.
ABOUT MY ART & HOW IT’S PRESENTED
It is eclectic. My first love is abstract and impressionistic art, but I create representational art as well. I am especially moved by California’s coast: the ocean with all of its changing light, majesty and beauty, coastal and tropical botanicals and palm silhouettes of all kinds; and all sorts of flowers. See SUCCULENT! and LILIES, KOI & O'KEEFE galleries.
MY WORK IS IMAGINATIVE & EXPERIMENTAL
Many of my abstracts evolve from the way God shows me the world. They come from reflections, refractions, anything that captures my eye in the moment. See the DREAMSCAPES gallery. I created the Six Word Stories Gallery with titles for the images as Ernest Hemingway did with his six-word story concept. He wagered with friends over lunch in Cuba that he could write a story in six words. And he won: "For Sale: Baby shoes. Never Worn." Combining an eclectic group of images with six-word story titles for each was such fun: I hope you enjoy my whimsical word/picture creations.
Eternal gratitude to my numerous mentors. You know who you are. ~Grace Shelley
